 The YMCA Glasgow Wind Orchestra is a community ensemble which was founded in February 1982.  Although affiliated to the YMCA (now known as Ypeople) Glasgow, the membership includes both genders, youth and experience and a wide range of ages and musical backgrounds.  Their repertoire is extensive with concert programming aiming to appeal to as wide an audience as possible, often including marches, overtures, light classical music, swing/jazz and music from stage and screen.

What are you doing tomorrow? Fancy a coffee? After working tirelessly for many years to organise and run Fairtrade Coffee Mornings to raise funds for the Hall, Frances Reeve has decided to have a well earned rest. So, in what might be your last opportunity, get down to the Hall Friday 10.00-12.00 and have a coffe and chinwag in what will be Frances's last coffee morning. Over the years these morning have raised thousands of pounds for the Hall and our thanks go to Frances for all that effort.

The first Cove Fringe was an outstanding success. On Friday night, a full house listened to the stunning folk sound of Salt House - fantastic singing and instrument playing brought the house down. Saturday afternoon was a nervous time for the organisers - 100 kids running around like mad things - but when Catherine Wheels took to the stage with their play "Stuck", the kids sat mesmarised for the whole performance - how so much imagery could be created from so little props was eye popping.
