Let charges
Local organizations using the Hall for events (such as meetings, dances, coffee mornings, sales of work or other fund raising activities) and individuals using the Hall for weddings, birthday parties or other similar events shall pay the Standard Hourly Rate for such events.

Profit making concerns, licensed events (where the sale of alcohol is for profit), local/national government events (other than Community Council events which shall be classed as local organization events), and any non-community related functions shall pay a Commercial Hourly Rate equal to twice the Standard Hourly Rate.
Where an event requires a set up period beforehand and/or a clear up period afterwards, such set up/clear up times shall be paid for at the rate of £6/hour.
Local organizations making regular use of the Hall (10 or more lets/annum or 25 or more hours/annum) shall qualify for a 10% discount on the above rates.
Where the lets required are for prolonged use of the Hall, the Hall Committee shall provide a specific rate for such at the time of the request.
Where an organization wishes to hold an event where the net proceeds are for the benefit of Cove Burgh Hall, the Hall Committee shall agree charges with the Hirer at the time of the request.
Payment Terms
Payment is accepted by cash or cheque (preferred). Cheques should be made payable to “Cove Burgh Hall”.
Local organizations paying the Standard Hourly Rate (or less) shall be invoiced quarterly in arrears. The quarters are Jan./March (invoiced 1 April); April/June (invoiced 1 July); July/Sept. (invoiced 1 October); and Oct./Dec. (invoiced 1 January).
Individuals paying the Standard Hourly Rate shall pay 25% of the total cost of the let at the time of Booking, with the balance to be paid at least 14 days before the let date.
Payment terms for any hire requests not covered by the above payment terms shall be determined at the time of the request.
Invoices shall be payable within 14 days of issue. Failure to pay shall render any remaining lets void.
