The vibrant hub of activities in Cove and Kilcreggan

Coming up: Cove Fringe Festival. 8th to 10 March

One of the things we have been considering for some time is creating an annual “festival” for the community to enjoy, one that would provide a variety of types of entertainment rather than a specific genre, such as folk or jazz. Our first “Cove Fringe” is set for the weekend 8-10 March. The entertainment will consist of:

CBH Quiz Night

The spring CBH quiz is on Saturday, 23 February this year. Sue Carpenter, our quiz mistress is hard at work finalising another tantalising set of questions to test your general knowledge. Doors open from 7.15 p.m., eyes down 8.00 p.m. Teams of up to six (don't worry if you are fewer, we'll surely fit you in), cost £3 pp. Bring you own bottle and nibbles. Great, fun night, so come along and join in the laughter (brain optional).

Community Wind Farm

The RPW Community Development Trust have now submitted a planning application to A&B Council for the proposed community owned wind farm. As part of the process they are seeking individuals to register their support to the Council. Cove Burgh Hall would undoubtedly be one of the beneficiries of the funds generated by such a project and we would encourage you to consider giving your support through the link provided under.
